Rosendals Trädgård
An oasis for sustainability, cultivation and enjoyment!
For almost forty years Rosendals’ Garden Foundation has cultivated and spread biodynamic farming practices. Rosendals Garden is a driver of the farm to fork concept and the harvest of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits are used in the our garden café and woodfired bakery.

Farmshop
The farm shop sells bread and cakes from the woodfired bakery, biodynamically grown vegetables from the garden, homemade preserves and pickles as well as carefully chosen books and crafts.
ARTISAN BAKERY
Rosendals artisan bakery was built in 1998. The bakery holds Stockholms largest woodfired oven that weighs 16 tons.
The bakers work with orgainc produce and preferably heritage grains. Most of the breads are based on sourdough and the assortment varies with the season. The bakers also make use of what the gardeners can harvest.
PLANTSHOP
The plant shop offers a carefully selected assortment of flowers and plants, seeds and tools for the urban gardener. For Rosendals Gardens 40th anniversary we made a special Jubilée vase, a collaboration with glass artist Linnea Hedenus.
From april – october the plantshop opens up the plantyard offering a carefully curated assortment of garden plants.
Flower arrangements for parties, events and special occasions are available to order from our florists.
OUR GARDEN
Rosendal is a market garden with vegetable fields, green houses, a rose garden, an orchard, flower beds, compost areas, a vineyard, a playground, an educational garden for children, a bakery, a nursery, a shop and a cafe.
Pick your own bouquet!
Our ”cut your own flower field” opens 28th of July.
Every year the gardeners grow around 50 different kinds of flowers and grasses – all grown sustainable – organic methods and no pesticides. Here you can harvest your own flower bouquet by borrowing scissors in the plantshop where the flowers are also paid by weight.
Rosendals gardeners and florists also harvest flowers for our events, weddings and other decorations such as wreaths, flowerwalls etc. Working within the season, with sustainable materials and as local as possible – thus reducing transports, are all important being part of the Slow Flower movement.
WEDDINGS & EVENTS
We arrange weddings, parties and events in our greenhouses and in the garden all year around. For information on our events see the events page. For requests email us.

READ MORE ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY
ENTRANCES
The entrance to the Garden Café has a higher threshold, a ramp will be brought by our staff if needed. The garden cafe entrance has two pairs of double doors and are opened manually. In the greenhouses there is a level difference with a step that separates the serving greenhouse from the dining room. The serving house has a brick floor and the floor of the ”dining room” is gravel.
Moving to new buildings in May 2024, will significantly improve accessibility to the garden café.
The plant shop greenhouse also has a single door with a threshold.
The large greenhouse, which is used for parties and events and for seating, has a sliding door and a staircase at one entrance. The lower end, facing the orchard has large double doors and no level difference.
The farm shop is located in a building with no difference in levels and has two single doors.
POINT OF ARRIVAL
