CHRISTMAS AT ROSENDALS TRÄDGÅRD
START OF THE FESTIVE SEASON!
As the garden comes to rest, our greenhouses are filled with a festive Christmas spirit! Preparations starts end of October – we bake, create wreaths, prepare spices for the glühwein, hand pick Christmas gifts, bring in material from nature to decorate the greenhouses and light candles.
Our chefs and bakers work with the seasons biodynamic and organic produce that is served for lunch, as ”fika” and at our booked Christmas events.
This years Garden Christmas opens with two evenings full of atmosphere – the 15th and 16th of November when we are open until 8pm.
Our Garden Christmas continues daily from 11am-4pm up until 21st of December.

The chefs and bakers have created a menue where traditional Christmas tastes meet new favorites from the garden, based on the seasons organic produce.
Starting by the bonfire with a glass of varm cloudy apple juice, we move on to a festive meal in the greenhouse lit up by candles. The dinner is served as a buffé with a starting section, main and dessert. For drinks we open up the bar during the evening. Full menue and more information can be found via link below. CHRISTMAS MARKET
BECKMANS COLLEGE OF DESIGN
Find original and quirky gifts as design-, fashion- and visual communication students from Beckmans College of Design take over the large greenhouse for a weekend. Their annual Christmas market has become a fun and inspiring tradition.
This weekend we open up our Winterbar serving Glühwein and a varming vegetarian chili from the outdoorkitchen. The cafe serves lunch and coffee. The bonfire is lit in the courtyard and in the greenhouses and farmshop the festive spirit is in full bloom.

CHRISTMAS IN THE PLANT SHOP & FARM SHOP
Enjoy festive times in the garden – and bring some home with you!
The plant shop is full of the traditional Christmas flowers; hyacinths, amaryllis and azalea.
You will also find hand made wreaths and decorations for the Christmas tree, not to mention gifts for the keen gardener; books, garden tools, vases and unique crafts.
The farm shop is filled with tastes of Christmas; bread from the wood fired oven, our classic ginger bread dough, cakes, tea blends, pickles, spices and a selection of items for the table.
A TASTE OF OUR GARDEN CHRISTMAS
During the cultivation season we harvest and save tastes of the garden by fermenting, drying and making pickles. All to be served during the winter months in our garden cafe and for our dinners.
Apple and pears from our orchard have been made into cider, to be served warm in winter. The harvest of kale we leave until last minute for the Christmas dinners…
The bakers take on a variety of traditional Christmas cakes, ginger breads and bread. The dishes on our cafe menue varies every week. For the current menue Click here. (presented in Swedish).
Bring the family for a festive ”fika”, gather your colleagues for a garden lunch or your friends for a drink. We do not take any table reservations, iti s just to show up. There are seats both inside and outside – with a roof and with out.

Christmas Preview Nights 15 &16th of November we are open until 8pm.
22nd of December – 3rd of January all of Rosendals Garden is closed. We open again 4th of January 2024.
