SHOPPING AT ROSENDAL
THE GARDEN THEN AND NOW
CAFÉ AND BAKERY SHOPPING AT ROSENDAL
OPENING HOURS AND MAP
The Plant Shop at Rosendal is found in one of the old greenhouses, where visitors can buy a little bit of the Rosendal garden to take home. During summer, we offer a carefully selected assortment of garden plants – most of them the same varieties as in our own garden, perennial flower beds, and herb and spice garden.
We sell old-fashioned roses, many of which can be seen in our Rose garden, below the Orangery. There is also a nice range of orangery plants: potted Mediterranean plants such as olive, laurel, fig, and citrus trees.
The Plant Shop also sells beautiful garden tools and other accessories for home-growing: soil, pots, wooden barrels, trellises, hammocks, bird-baths, and other handicraft.
THE WOOD FIRED OVEN BAKERY & SHOP
The Garden Shop offers selected organic foods, bread from our Bakery, and organic fruit and vegetables.
Of our own bottling there are home-made herb teas, rose and lavender sugar, herbal salts and other exciting seasonings. The beatiful bottles of herb-infused olive oils and vinegars are excellent gift ideas; or try our popular nut mix, sold loose by weight, of organic cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds.
Here you find a nice choice of ecological olive oils and balsamic vinegars, imported from Italy and Spain; selected natural skin care products from Lisen Organics and beautiful French soaps; as well as an assortment of tea cups, plates, vases, hand-printed tea towels, and other handicraft products.
The choice of vegetables on sale follow the season: in the harvest months, our gardeners deliver fresh vegetables every morning. Our unique bread is baked daily in the wood-fired stone oven from ecological ingredients, as are our tasty buns and biscuits.
CHRISTMAS AT ROSENDAL!
From the bakery you will find all sorts of traditional Christmas breads and cakes. The plantshop is full of beautiful flower arrangements of the season. In the café you can enjoy lunches with a taste of Winter.
